Kelly Van Zile, Artistic Director
Kelly is a 1992 Ridgewood High School graduate. After receiving her BA in English and Theater from Skidmore College, Kelly worked as a professional actress. In 2008, Kelly returned to her theatrical home to start directing at New Players. She has directed over 30 productions, the latest being The Wolves. Some of her favorites include Shrek, Something Rotten, Twelfth Night, The Outsiders, Comic Potential, Sweeney Todd, and Little Shop of Horrors. When not in the Little Theater Kelly is most likely in a room coaching professionals to communicate with impact and present with confidence and clarity. She loves encouraging students and adults to authentically connect with their audiences.

Morgan Knight, Director & Producer
Morgan has been involved with RHS New Players for over 20 years, in which time he has worn many hats: student, stage manager, choreographer, fight director, sound designer, producer, and director. NPC directing include Anything Goes, Much Ado About Nothing, Chicago, Amadeus, Les Misérables, Clue: Onstage, Mamma Mia!, The Great Gatsby, Godspell, She Kills Monsters, The Three Musketeers, The Taming of the Shrew, and Twelfth Night. Morgan is the director of theatre at Scotch Plains - Fanwood High School, where recent credits include Metamorphoses, Freaky Friday, Game of Tiaras, The Addams Family, Romeo and Juliet, The Drowsy Chaperone, Les Misérables, The SpongeBob Musical, Chicago, and Mamma Mia!. Morgan studied acting at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

Nicholas A. Cotz, Guest Director
Nicholas is an English teacher at Ridgewood High School. Prior to his career as a teacher he produced and directed in New York, Los Angeles, and Europe. His most recent directing credits include Tracy Thorne’s Jack Was Kind in both the original Zoom production and the stage premiere at Irish Rep. Some of other favorites are Gideon Irving's My Name is Gideon at The Brick in Williamsburg, and Julien Schwab's rogerandtom at HERE with Personal Space Theatrics. Nicholas spent fifteen years as the Associate Artistic and then Artistic Director of Personal Space Theatrics, and then another ten as the Executive / Producing Director with All For One Theater (AFO). Recent producing credits with AFO include: Diana Oh’s The Gift Project at Symphony Space; Irving's Songs, Space Travel, and Everything in Between at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe; Irving’s I’m Probably Going to Die Eventually at Rattlestick Playwright's Theater; Neil D’Astolfo’s Mister Miss America at Rattlestick; The Brobot Johnson Experience, written and performed by Darian Dauchan (co-produced with The Bushwick Starr); Open by Crystal Skillman (co-produced by The Tank); and Lizzie Vieh's Monsoon Season both at the Edinburgh Fringe and in NYC at Rattlestick. Prior to receiving his Masters in Education from Montclair State University, Cotz received a BFA in theater from Syracuse University, an MFA in directing from Brooklyn College, and was a Manhattan Theatre Club Directing Fellow.

Corey Goulden-Naitove, Lighting Designer
He holds an MFA in Lighting Design from Indiana University and BA in Theatrical Design and Production from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Corey lives in New York City, but his work has been staged all across the country at venues ranging from schools and camps to Fringe Festivals, to regional theatre companies like Constellation Stage and Screen, Arts Center for Coastal Carolina, Virginia Musical Theatre, and Totem Pole Playhouse; Off-Broadway at Theatre Row and 59E59 Theatres; and The Lost Colony.

Maxwell Cicchino, Sound Designer
He is an award-winning audio engineer based in Hudson County, NJ. He is the owner/operator of Empty City Sound LLC. He has been in the field professionally since 2007 and has been working with New Players Company since 2015. He holds a B.S. in Audio Engineering Technology and an A.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from the University of Hartford. When not working in theatre he runs sound for various music venues and artists around New Jersey.

Rebecca Horner, Costume Designer
She is a graduate of DeSales University with a BA in theatre. While she can usually be found on the stage, she’s also been the costumer for over 14 theatrical productions. Before that, she had the pleasure of working as a costuming cast member at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. She has also worked on various productions as a dresser, stitcher, props master, and assistant stage manager.

Joseph Napolitano, Set Designer
He is a New York based designer and educator for the stage and built environment. He was honored with the Papermill Playhouse’s Outstanding Educator Award in 2024. Some of his recent scenic designs include Chicago (2024), The Wolves (2024), Almost, Maine (2024) and Les Misérables (2023) at New Players Company; Freaky Friday (2025), The Addams Family (2024) Game of Tiaras (2024), Romeo & Juliet (2023) at the SPFHS Repertory Theatre; Pippin (2025) Into The Woods (2024), Clue (2024), Twelfth Night (2024), Wendy & Peter Pan (2023) and Spring Awakening (2023) at the Macrae Theater. www.ThisIsJN.com

Bryan Kule, Technical Director
Although Bryan is new to theatrical set building, he has been a lifelong hands-on craftsman. He is excited to create the literal platform for the incredibly talented New Players actors to showcase their skills and bring their characters and set to life.

Gary Fink, Orchestra Conductor
He began conducting the New Players Pit Orchestra regularly in 2004 with their summer production of “Pippin”. Since then, he has been involved with the New Players Company as a percussionist, conductor, composer, arranger, sound designer, and soundboard operator. He has performed in or conducted the pit orchestra of over 165 musicals in New York and New Jersey and credits his massive collection of strange percussion instruments to that fact. Gary teaches AP Music Theory at RHS and since 1986, has directed numerous music groups at RHS and beyond.
