Approximately every third August, the New Players Company travels to Edinburgh, Scotland to experience Fringe, the world's largest arts festival. In addition to performing a play as part of the American High School Theatre Festival, New Players spend their days seeing as many shows as they can while exploring the historic city. Add in unique educational opportunities such as workshops with the Royal Shakespeare Company and a final evening at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle, and it's a New Players rite of passage and an artistic and bonding experience like no other.
